Overseas Compatriot School in Berlin Traditional Chinese Character Culture Festival grandly held
With the aim of expanding the scope of using traditional Chinese characters overseas and promoting Taiwan’s distinctive and diverse culture. In the last few years, the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) has actively encouraged overseas compatriot schools and educational and cultural groups to hold various kinds of educational and cultural activity and skills competitions.
Chinesische Schule Berlin celebrated its 35th anniversary this year and, to mark the event, expanded the closing ceremony and traditional Chinese character culture festival. The ceremony featured arts performances by various classes and items connected to traditional Chinese characters that showcased the students’ learning results over the past year. Amidst lively scenes, students on stage also interacted with the audience, bringing the program to a climax and the event to a perfect end.
