To celebrate ROC National Day this year, the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) had invited SEMISCON Vocal Band to serve up an all-new audio-visual feast that is a cross-field combination of distinctive A Cappella singing and acrobatics to overseas compatriots in Australia, New Zealand and Africa from September 4th to 24th.
The group was form of young performance artists and presented a splendid performance with the theme of Taiwan Vocal and Acrobatic Feast. A Cappella songs in Chinese, Taiwanese, Hakka, indigenous languages and English from SEMISCON had been accompanied by the stunning acrobatic displays of two well-known circus arts performers to express the cultural diversity of Taiwan. The performance was an arts feast of tradition, culture, innovation and breakthrough.
The Goodwill Mission troupe attracted over 4,000 audiences and enhanced the emotional connection between overseas compatriots and the culture of their homeland.
