The inauguration ceremony of the Museum of Chinese in Korea
  The Overseas Chinese High School Seoul, Korea, held the inauguration ceremony of the Museum of Chinese in Korea on July 15, 2020. Attendees of the ceremony include Tan, Shao-Jung, principal of the school, Yu, Chi-Sheng, director of the school, and representatives from overseas Chinese associations, communities, and schools in Korea. Unable to attend owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chen-Yuan, Tung, minister of the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), recorded a video to give his congratulations on the inauguration.      The museum, open to overseas compatriots individuals, communities, and schools in Korea, displays historical photos of the school, the registration certificate of the OCAC, the history of overseas Chinese associations, household registration transcripts, cultural antiquities, etc. for the younger generation to understand the history of overseas compatriots in Korea and appreciate the hard work of their ancestors.

Substitute services draftees of the OCAC providing child care and study partner services
Eight substitute services draftees currently in service at the OCAC participate in a program co-hosted by the OCAC and the Wan Hua Child Service Center (hereinafter the Center) to provide child care and study partner services to the children at the Center every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon. The program is meant for the draftees to use their expertise to provide public services. As the program brings children more opportunities and fun for learning, it also enables the draftees to practice what they've learned in school and learn to give and care.

ETCC-JC 2020 First Online Youth Forum- Modern Arts and Culture in Europe and America
        The Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Europe—Junior Chapter (ETCC-JC) held its first online European Youth Forum on 14 June. The theme of the forum was "Modern Arts and Culture in Europe and America". Four elite artists across the Atlantic shared their professional views on the development of modern arts. Taipei Representative Office in the UK Education Division Director Dr Nicole Yen-Yi Lee, Economic Division Director Chi-Young Chen, Community Affairs Assistant Director Tiyu Yeh, World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce Honorary President Dong-Ping Jeng, The Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Europe President Cecelia Liu, Honorary President Wilfred Sing, Overseas Community Affairs Council Senior Adviser Michelle Lin and around 50 youths attended the forum.        ETCC-JC President Dr Benny Hsu chaired the forum. The guest speakers are Chinese Arts Now CEO and artistic director An-Ting Chang from Britain, New Asia Chamber Music Society co-founder and artistic director Dr Wei-Yang Andy Lin from the United States, the emerging painter Chih-Lin Yeh from Sweden and the film artist Alice Tseng from the UK.       An-Ting focused on new theatres in the UK, including the success story of Fleabag. Andy shared his experiences in the United States and how he combined Chinese and Western music. Chih-Lin talked about inspirations for her art works. Alice shared her dreams in pursuing a career in film making.      The forum allowed attendees to better understand current developments in arts and culture in the West. We hope that emerging Taiwanese artists can continue to shine across the globe.

Reception Room of ITCCJC Received an Enthusiastic Response
Indonesia Taiwan Chambers of Commerce-Junior Chapter《ITCCJC》presented an online Facebook broadcast "Reception Room of ITCCJC" on the evening of June 24th.  The chairman of ITCCJC, Taffy Chang, hosted the event and invited the legislator of the Legislative Yuan- Andy Chiu to share the business and serving experience in Vietnam.  It attracted more than 80 global young entrepreneurs including Indonesia to watch online and join the activity. Andy Chiu, once honored Top 10 Outstanding Young Persons, told his stories of more than 10 years of hardworking in Vietnam.  In his time of involving in the Taiwanese Junior Chambers of Commerce, he accumulated lots of experience and networking process. Andy Chiu affirmed that the OCAC has supported the development of Overseas Compatriot Entrepreneurs for many years with the intention of serving overseas compatriot businessmen.  He also mentioned that because of the support from OCAC, he got the opportunity to provide better services for Taiwanese businessmen.  Now, as a legislator of the Legislative Yuan, he will keep supervising the government.  To gain more policy resources, he called on young businessmen friends to join the chamber of commerce to make Taiwanese businessmen more powerful. During the exchange of questions, the audience raised questions such as "What is your advice for the development of young people going overseas?" and "Insights on the benefits of the New Southbound Policy". Andy Chiu encouraged young entrepreneurs to improve their expertise, make good use of resources, and undertake the responsibilities of the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce to make greater contributions to the country. At the same time, they also believe that the main benefit of the New Southbound Policy is the continuous  exchange of humanities and tourism, which brings Taiwanese new understanding of Southeast Asia, and  which is as valuable as economic benefits. Taffy Chang said that due to the impact of the epidemic (COVID-19) this year, many activities could not be held.  But the enthusiasm of the ITCCJC service was not affected. With the support of OCAC, the first live broadcast was successful.  In addition to thanking the guests, he also thanked the professional team and friends from all over the world for their enthusiastic participation.                Wong Shu Hwa, the expatriate division director of TETO, said that Andy Chiu's service has been affirmed by overseas compatriots. In 2016, he served as the chairman of the World Youth Chamber of Youth Branch of the World Taiwan Chamber of Commerce.  Today, as the incumbent Secretary General of the World Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, he warmly encouraged the young entrepreneurs in Indonesia and shared experiences with them.
