Overseas compatriot investment interests in the region include: computer and electronics, information technology, food industry, transportation and freight, hospitality and travel services, import/ export, floral, retail, etc. Major organizations in the area include: the Taiwan Entrepreneurs Society Taipei / Toronto (TESTT), the Taiwan Merchants Association of Toronto (TMAT), the Taiwanese Canadian Toronto Credit Union (TCTCU) and the Global Federation of Chinese Business Women Toronto.
