Our Services include：
Facilitate Exchanges among Overseas Community Associations
1. Select and recommend board members of overseas community associations to attend association-related seminars in Taiwan.
2. Support overseas community associations to organize cultural events and Double Ten National Day Celebration.
3. Help overseas compatriots integrate into local mainstream society.
4. Help organize emergency assistance associations in major cities.
Promote Mandarin Learning and Taiwan Multiple Culture
1. Select and Recommend teachers of overseas community schools to attend language/cultural instruction seminars held online or in Taiwan.
2. Supply overseas community schools with teaching materials and instruction equipment offered by the OCAC.
3. Help the overseas community organize “Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors.”
4. Coordinate performances of Taiwan Goodwill Mission organized by the OCAC.
5. Help coordinate teachers sent by the OCAC to teach folk arts and traditional culture in the summer camp.
Enhance Competitiveness of Overseas Community Enterprises
1. Select and recommend owners/managers of overseas compatriot operated businesses to attend professional training programs in Taiwan.
2. Select and recommend president/board members of Chamber of Commerce to attend leadership workshop in Taiwan.
3. Invite overseas community enterprises to investigate businesses in Taiwan and invest.
4. Keep overseas community enterprises well informed with the latest services offered by the Overseas Credit Guarantee Fund.
5. Accept and review applications for Overseas Compatriot Card and Overseas Authorized Store.
Encourage overseas compatriot youth to study in Taiwan
1. Help overseas compatriot youth apply for colleges in Taiwan.
2. Accept and review applications for the “Language Study Program for Compatriot Youth” and “Teaching English Volunteer Service in Taiwan.”
3. Help overseas compatriot alumni of colleges in Taiwan organize related associations.
Other Services
1. There are nearly 40,000 volumes of books and DVDs in traditional Chinese character at the library of the Culture Center. Apply for a library card with a valid photo ID and $20 deposit.
2. Provide rental services of venues, equipment, traditional culture related costumes and props.
3. The Exhibition and Tour of Splendor of Taiwan is complimentary for groups interested in traditional festivals and multiple culture. For more information, contact: splendoroftaiwan@houstonocac.org.

Library
The library is divided into two rooms- book collections and a reading room. The library has collections of about 39,000 titles of Mandarin language books, magazines, and videotapes.

Auditorium
The auditorium has a stage with professional lighting, sound system, and two changing rooms for the performers. The sitting area can accommodates maximum of 800 audiences, and it provides an excellent place for performances and for meeting functions.

Exhibition Room
The exhibition room has wall panels for hanging displays and light system to accent the wall displays.
This room can also be used for meeting and can accommodate to 80 people.

Entertainment Room
With a maximum capacity of 150 people, this room can be used for teaching or practicing ballroom dancing.

Dancing Room
This room can be used for dancing and aerobic exercise.

Conference Room
The formal conference room can accommodate to 60 people in a round table type meeting

Culture Presentation Room
The room is decorated with decorations that reflect the Taiwanese culture heritage. It has 10 feet video screen and surround sound system.
This room can accommodate 40 people maximum.

Classroom
Four classrooms are available for classes and meetings. Each room can hold up to 50 people.

Music Classroom
This room is for performing choirs, dramas, and organization choirs to practice.

Computer Room
The computer room has 15 computers for computer classes and also used for promoting the language study

The Lobby Culture Display
The lobby hosts the Splendor Taiwan permanent exhibition. The exhibition includes life size display of the Winnowing Machine, the Granite Stone Grinder, the Wooden Pestle with Mortar used by indigenous people and the Orchid Island Canoe, as well as, the replica scenery of the old rural farming home.
