Taiwan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs Association - TORONTO (T.Y.P.E.A.) held a welcome party on September 14 — Sing Autumn with TYPEA to which members were invited to interact with each other and celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival together. Refined mooncakes and other snacks were served and there were also a creative and fun singing game and lucky draw. The event attracted many TYPEA members and young Taiwanese-Canadians from the Toronto area.
TYPEA president Tracy Hsu, who took up the role in 2019, first introduced its organization and functions and the current directors. Then, a fun game was held; with participants divided into three teams, the game involved guessing the lyrics by listening to songs and guessing the names of songs from gestures. Amidst lively scenes, the game was a test of the memory and creativity of participants and also revisited many well-known old Taiwanese songs.
President Jack Lo of Young Taiwanese Merchants Association of Toronto, President Kevin Lin of the Taiwanese Canadian Association of Toronto etc. also attended. On the day, around 50 members of TYPEA and other junior business groups attended, and the atmosphere was lively.
