With the aim of encouraging young Taiwanese entrepreneurs to exercise and to cheer on the Chinese Taipei team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, a 3-day cycle ride, the Windbreaker Asia Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce Junior Chapter 360 km New Taipei City-Kaohsiung Cycling Challenge, was held October 16-18, 2019 by the Asia Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce Junior Chapter; the event was carefully planned by president Johnson Chang and his team and had 19 participants from nine Asian countries, the US and Germany who came to Taiwan to take part in the Asia Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce Junior Chapter Windbreaker Cycling Team and take on the challenge.
The team set off from Danshui in New Taipei City on October 16 and headed south along the beautiful west coast. Team members encouraged each the along the way and shared their feelings. They arrived safety in Kaohsiung on October 18 after completing the challenge, in doing so proving again the power of unity and willpower of second-generation overseas Taiwanese entrepreneurs.
